If you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. We aim to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.
Since holistic health care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!
The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.
Your First Visit
- On your first visit for chiropractic care, your practitioner needs time to review your health history, conduct a physical exam, and take X-rays (if necessary). As a result, this appointment may last 1-1/2 to 2 hours long.
- For a spinal adjustment, your chiropractor usually needs 15 minutes. However, if you need adjustments on other joints – for example, your feet – then additional time may be scheduled.
- For nutritional assessment or allergy treatment, an initial appointment will usually last 1 to 1-1/2 hours and follow-up appointments 15 min. to an hour.
Care for All Ages
Using the safe effective therapies outlined on this website, our practitioners have been able to achieve excellent results with children and adults from infancy to 90+ years old. We will initially take an in-depth health history, which takes approximately ½ hour to complete, in order to determine which treatment approach or combination of treatments will bring about the quickest and longest-lasting improvement in your condition.
What to Expect During Treatment
During the history review, we will carefully listen to your list of symptoms/complaints, how they developed, and what aggravates or makes them better. They will ask what tests have been done to determine the cause of your condition and the tests’ results. Also, they will want to know what treatments have been tried and whether you benefited from them. Your practitioner will also discuss your goals for treatment and what you feel your lifestyle and finances will allow, and tailor a treatment program accordingly. Their goal will be to get the quickest, most comprehensive and longest lasting results possible.
In many cases only one treatment approach will be necessary, but in some cases a more comprehensive program of two or more therapies will be necessary to achieve satisfactory results. If we are not positive we can help you, we may recommend a trial period of treatment. If you have a condition which definitely will not be helped by any of our therapies, you will be referred to the best person who might be able to help.
Financial Policy
We are very upfront about what your care will cost you and have a pay-as-you-go approach. We’ll give you a range of what to expect as the cost of your first visit, as well as, the cost of subsequent visits. Most importantly, we want to help you return to health, and want to make your experience with our office the best possible.
